HYBRID FESTIVAL
The Hybrid Festival is a Covid-19 innovation, born in 2020 out of the need to support our artists and communities during the challenging times of the pandemic. At the height of the Covid restrictions, Festivals Malta transformed an open top bus into a stage and took performances to the streets, providing live entertainment to people who were stuck isolating in their homes. As measures lifted, the festival transitioned to scaled-down performances in the squares of Valletta, creating an ambience for the enjoyment of people dining in the city.
This year the Hybrid Festival returns, this time in the theatres with a repertoire of live music and performing arts.
